N8iV Beauty Skincare Campaign Launch

For N8iV Beauty Skincare, I creative directed and produced the brand’s first campaign launch photoshoot, shaping the concept, guiding the visual narrative, and directing on-set alongside the photographer. I oversaw everything from scouting models all over the country to mood-boarding and styling to set design and the final polish; bringing a bold, clean and sleek approach to beauty storytelling while keeping the imagery true to the brand’s world.

My approach was centered on indigenous Native American heritage. The ancestral secrets of indigenous beauty is their main pillar, so I scouted 9 native models all around the US that were different skin tones, shapes, ages, and tribes. All focused and geared toward native women representation. The different indigenous looks, and how beauty is a spectrum of differences. I chose neutral colored clothing that complemented each model’s skin tone, to bring the most attention to that aspect.

I chose the 2nd half of the shoot to be at the beach because the water is prevalent in the indigenous tribes in California. Native culture honors the water, creates offerings for it, and the ingredients in the products stem from within the ocean. Sea kelp, bladderwrack, spirulina, chlorella, etc. The ocean was crucial in the shoot/campaign to showcase this strong pillar within the brand. I even had a model wear the kelp.
